EAST STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University acrobatics and tumbling team made history once again this season as they hosted Adrian on Tuesday night inside Koehler Fieldhouse for their first-ever home meet.
The Warriors (0-3) dropped a hard fought decision to the Bulldogs (2-1) by a final score of 236.245 to 198.535.
How It Happened
- The Warriors grabbed a lead to open the match, posting a 31.45 in the Compulsory with a 9.45 in the Toss Heat.
- ESU notched a 21.70 in the Acro Event which included an 8.15 in the 5 Element
- In the Pyramid Event, ESU tallied a 26.50, including a 9.55 in the Open Heat, to have a total of 79.65
- After the break, scored 23.05 in the Toss Event with an 8.80 in the Open Heat
- The Warriors accumulated 33.225 in the Tumbling Event, which included a 6.65 in the Aerial Pass
- ESU finished out their first home competition with a 62.61 in the Team Event
