OWINGS MILLS, MD. – On the road for the final time this season, the East Stroudsburg University acrobatics and tumbling team were triumphant as the Warriors defeated Stevenson by a final score of 241.145-210.800 on Thursday night inside Owings Mills Gymnasium.

How it Happened
- Starting off the meet with the Compulsory, ESU totaled a score of 30.75 which included 7.35 in Acro, 9.30's in Pyramid and Toss as well as a 4.40 in Tumbling. Going into the second event, the Warriors were up 30.75 to Stevenson's 24.90 score.
- Moving into the optional portion of the meet, the Warriors had a score of 9.00 in Heat 1 (5-Element), 8.60 in Heat 2 (6-Element) and 9.60 in Heat 3 (7-Element) of Acro to total 29.30 for the event. ESU stretched the lead to 57.950-45.800 over the Mustangs going into the Pyramid.
- In the Pyramid event, ESU earned a 9.20 in Heat 1, the inversion heat, 9.10 in heat two, the synchronized heat and 9.50 in heat three, the open heat, to finish with 27.80, bringing their running total to 85.750 at halftime compared to 72.750 for the Mustangs.
- Out of the halftime break, ESU had scores of 8.30 (450 Salto) 8.10 (Synchronized) and 7.95 (Open), respectively to total 24.35 in the Toss Event.
- In the Tumbling Event, ESU totaled 45.025 across the six events as the Warriors notched a pair of 8.0+ scores with a 6.950 in the duo pass, a 7.250 in the trio pass, a 6.550 in the quad pass, an 8.175 in the aerial pass, an 8.700 in the 6-element pass, and a 7.400 in the open pass.
- The Warriors concluded the night with 86.070 in the Team event to finish the meet with a total of 241.145 which was their third highest scoring output this season.
