Acrobatics & Tumbling Posts Program Best Score Against Stevenson

STEVENSON, MD – The East Stroudsburg University acrobatics and tumbling team notched its second win of the season on Saturday afternoon as the Warriors took down Stevenson 202.690-132.125 inside Owings Mills Gymnasium.

ESU recorded their highest score of the season and in the 200's for the first time to move to 2-3 overall on the season.

How It Happened

- The Warriors began the meet with a 30.10 in the Compulsory Event, with a best score of 9.15 in the Pyramid Heat.

- ESU recorded a total of 23.15 in the Acro Event which included a high score of 8.25 in the 7 Element.

- In the Pyramid Event, the Warriors finished with a 25.25, with a high score of 9.20 in the Open Heat to give them a total of 78.50 headed into the halftime.

- In the Toss Event, ESU garnered a season-high score of 24.5 after recording a 8.45 in the 450 Salto.

- ESU collected a 35.45 in the Tumble Event after posting a best score of 7.375 in the Open Pass

- The Warriors closed out the meet with a program-high of 64.24 in the Team Event

The Warriors close put their inaugural season in two weeks when they travel to Kutztown to square off against the Golden Bears on Friday, April 8 at 6 p.m. inside the Keystone Arena.
