MILLERSVILLE – Highlighted by a pair of top-10 finishes in the hammer throw, the East Stroudsburg University women's track and field team kicked off the three-day 2022 PSAC Outdoor Championships on Thursday at Millersville's Biemesderfer Stadium.
Field Highlights
Sophomore Elizabeth Makar paced the Warriors in the hammer with a fourth-place finish after recording a throw of 49.55m (162-6) and Madison Horahan took seventh with a mark of 47.04m (154-4). Freshman Samiyah Little rounded out the top-10 with a personal-best and freshman record breaking toss of 45.94m (150-9), while Zionette Salahuddin grabbed a 12th place finish at a personal-best 45.40m (148-11).
