EAST STROUDSBURG – It was a raucous Tuesday night inside Koehler Fieldhouse as the East Stroudsburg University men's wrestling team knocked off Kutztown, 24-23, in a thrilling PSAC dual.
The Warriors, who defeat Kutztown for the first time since February 18, 2014, conclude the year 5-7 overall and 2-5 in the conference while the Golden Bears finish the season at 7-5 and 3-4 in the PSAC.

Notables
- It was an electric start to the dual as 30 seconds into the final period, Josh Jasionowicz pinned Kutztown's Julien Maldonado at 125 to put the Warriors up 6-0
- The one-two punch to open the match continued to produce for the Warriors as Cameron Enriquez (133) earned an 8-3 decision over the Golden Bears' KJ Fenstermacher to extend the Warriors' lead to 9-0
- Trailing 6-2 in the final 10 seconds of the dual at 141, Dardia reversed Kutztown's Trent Thompson to his back with the clock winding down before securing the fall with three seconds left to stretch ESU's edge to 15-0
- With the score at 15-4 in favor of the Warriors, Parenti made it two-for-two for the seniors as the Alpha, N.J. native pinned Sean Smith at the 4:39 mark in the match to put ESU back ahead 21-4.
- After the Golden Bears clawed back with a major decision and a pair of pins to get within one point at 21-20, Ajay Hiller posted a 9-2 decision at 197 to give the Warriors a 24-20 cushion
- With Kutztown needing a tech fall or pin at 285, Matthew Richardson bumped up a weight class and fended off the Golden Bears' Dustin Swanson, who was only able to record a 9-2 decision, making the final score 24-23
- Jasionowicz improved his overall record to 17-5 and 4-2 in duals while registering his 11th fall
- Enriquez continued to impress at 133 as the junior transfer moves to 5-1 overall and in duals
- Parenti moves to 17-7 overall and 4-3 in duals with five falls, while Hiller bolsters his record to 18-10 on the season and 7-5 in duals
- The Warriors continue to hold the advantage over Kutztown in the all-time series at 29-12-1
