LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The East Stroudsburg University women's track and field team closed out the Monmouth Spring Opener on Sunday by recording five additional PSAC automatic qualifiers at Joe Compagni Track at Kessler Stadium.
Posting PSAC automatic qualifying marks and times for the Warriors were 
Jeanette Jones (100m hurdles), 
Ariel Kyle (200m), 
Kamya Edmonds (long jump), 
Olivia Sforza (javelin), 
Nickolina Annelli (pole vault) and 
Heather Gaughran (pole vault).
Running Highlights
Jones got her outdoor season underway in impressive fashion as the senior missed her personal-best time in the 60m hurdles by .01 seconds after finishing fourth with a PSAC mark of 14.62.
In the 200m, Kyle posted a 22nd place finish but notched a conference qualifying time of 26.17.
Field Event Highlights
On her way to a sixth place finish in the javelin, Sforza recorded a PSAC automatic qualifying mark of 39.92m (121-1).
Edmonds finished as the runner-up in the long jump as the Reading native leaped a conference qualifying mark of 5.55m (18-2 ½) on her second attempt.
With both Warriors clearing the PSAC automatic height in the pole vault, Annelli took fifth with a mark of 3.35m (10-11 ¾) and Gaughran recorded the ninth-best effort in program history at 3.20m (10-6).
