EAST STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University acrobatics and tumbling team made program history on Sunday inside Koehler Fieldhouse as the Warriors recorded their first perfect 10.0 score and highest point total in program history. Fifth-ranked Gannon ultimately defeated ESU by a final score of 277.645-249.380.
Headed into their final meets of the regular season, the Warriors sit at 2-5 overall while the Golden Knights improved to 5-2.

How it Happened
- ESU opened the meet with 35.05 points in the Compulsory Event as the Warriors notched an 8.95 (Acro), 9.45 (Pyramid), 9.65 (Toss) and 7.00 (Tumbling)
- The Warriors returned to the mat for the Acro Event, totaling 26.60 points which included scores of 8.85 in the 5 Element, 8.45 in the 6 Element and 9.30 in the 7 Element
- ESU put together their best performance in the Pyramid Event as the Warriors posted a program-high 28.30 points. The Warriors scored a 9.30 out of 9.30 in the Inversion, 9.00 in the Synchronized and a 10/10 in the Open. Gannon held a slim lead over ESU at 96.30-89.95 headed into the break.
- Coming out of the half, the Warriors finished with 26.15 points in the Toss Event with scores of 8.80 in 450 Salto, 8.55 in Synchronized and 8.80 in Open
- In the Tumbling Event, ESU posted a program-best 45.200 points after posting scores of 8.150 (Duo Pass), 6.350 (Trio Pass), 7.000 (Quad Pass), 8.425 (Aerial Pass), 7.075 (6 Element Pass) and 8.200 (Open Pass)
- ESU finished off their home slate with a bang, posting their highest Team Event score in school history with 88.08 points to finished with a score of 249.380
