KUTZTOWN – The East Stroudsburg University acrobatics and tumbling team wrapped up their 2023 season by splitting a tri-meet with Kutztown and Caldwell on Thursday evening inside the Keystone Arena. The Warriors defeated the Cougars 223.380-86.850, but fell to the Golden Bears, who scored 246.540.
The Warriors conclude their second season in program history with a record of 3-6 after facing four nationally ranked opponents.
ESU set program-bests in the overall team score at 249.380 as well as in all six different events of the meet (Compulsories, Acro, Pyramid, Toss, Tumbling, Team Routine).

How it Happened
- The Warriors got started by totaling 33.60 points in the Compulsory Event as ESU scored 7.90 in Acro, 9.20 in Pyramid, 9.15 in Toss and 7.35 in Tumbling
- In the Acro Event, ESU finished with 23.40 points after recording 8.75 in the 5 Element, 7.75 in the 6 Element and 6.90 in the 7 Element
- ESU went into halftime with 82.200 points as the Warriors scored 25.20 in the Pyramid Event which included 7.10 in Inversion, 9.15 in Synchronized and 8.95 in Open.
- Out of the break, the Warriors notched 24.65 in the Toss Event with scores of 8.65 in 450 Salto, 8.10 in Synchronized and 7.90 in Open
- After recording scored of 8.150 (Duo Pass), 6.350 (Trio Pass), 7.000 (Quad Pass), 8.425 (Aerial Pass), 7.075 (6 Element Pass) and 8.200 (Open Pass), ESU posted 41.400 in the Tumbling Event
- In their last team event of the season, the Warriors registered 75.13 points to bring their final score to 223.380
