Baseball Receiving Votes in NCBWA Division II Preseason Top 25

WINGATE, N.C. ­– After finishing 36-14 and advancing to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the second consecutive season in 2023, the East Stroudsburg University baseball team will open the 2024 campaign receiving votes in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Preseason Top 25, released on Wednesday by the organization.  

The Warriors garnered a total of 38 points in the NCBWA Preseason Poll and are the first team listed outside of the Top 25.

Earlier this week ESU was picked third in the NCBWA Atlantic Region Preseason Poll, while junior Jack Rothenhausler (First Team) and senior Nick McAuliffe (Honorable Mention) were named to the All-Atlantic Region Teams.

ESU is scheduled to open the 2024 campaign on Friday, February 9, in Wilson, N.C. against Felician at 10 a.m.

In today's D2 Baseball Inside Preseason Top 25 the Warriors were ranked 22nd.
