EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — East Stroudsburg University junior first baseman Parker Frey has been named to the 2025 ABCA NCAA Division II Atlantic Region All-Defensive Team, capping off a stellar season defined by consistency, leadership, and defensive dominance.
A cornerstone of the Warriors' success, Frey appeared in 56 games, posting a .998 fielding percentage while recording 401 putouts, 31 assists, and just one error all season. His defensive prowess included 22 putouts in a single game against Southern New Hampshire on March 14—marking the season high—and he was instrumental in turning 40 double plays at first base.
Offensively, Frey batted a strong .338 with 66 hits, 16 doubles, 4 home runs, and 44 RBIs, showcasing his all-around game. He delivered when it mattered most, notching a season-high 5 RBIs on May 18 vs. Fairmont State and recording three-hit performances in multiple key matchups, including a clutch game against Seton Hill during regional play.
Frey's inclusion on the regional defensive team also placed him in contention for the prestigious ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Award, a testament to his consistency and elite glove work.
