EAST STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University acrobatics and tumbling team put on a show in the home-opener as the Warriors notched their first victory of the season following a 224.850-173.370 triumph over Georgian Court on Saturday afternoon inside Koehler Fieldhouse.

The Warriors improved to 1-2 following their first win while the Lions dropped to 0-1 following their first ever meet in their inaugural season.
How it Happened
- ESU kicked off the home meet by registering 30.75 points in the Compulsory, which included a 9.30 in the Pyramid Heat
- The Warriors returned to Acro Event where ESU scored 20.95 points after recording an 8.60 in the 5 Element
- Heading into the halftime, ESU went into the break with 76.00 points after totaling a seasonhogh 24.30 in the three Pyramid Event heats
- Following the break, ESU notched 24.10 points in the Toss with a high score of 8.35 in the Synchronized Heat
- The Warriors registered 44.650 points in Tumbling Event after posting scores of 7.300 (Duo Pass), 6.600 (Trio Pass), 6.550 (Quad Pass), 8.250 (Aerial Pass), 7.800 (6 Element Pass) and 8.150 (Open Pass)
- With a start value of 98.70 in the Team Event, ESU collected a season-high 80.10 points, which ranks fifth all-time, to finish the meet with a total of 224.850
