WEST LIBERTY, W.V. – Back on the mat for the first time in two weeks, the East Stroudsburg University acrobatics and tumbling fell to West Liberty by a final score of 259.450-237.070 on Saturday afternoon at the Academic Sports & Recreation Center.

How it Happened
- The Warriors opened the meet by scoring 32.30 in the Compulsory Event as ESU registered a 9.70 in pyramid and 9.45 in toss. West Liberty finished with 36.85 points as the Hilltoppers used heat scores of 9.65 in acro, 9.80 in pyramid and 9.70 in toss.
- In the Acro Event, the Warriors posted scores of 9.05 in 5-element, 9.00 in 6-element, and 9.25 in 7-element for a total of 27.30, while the Hilltoppers edged ESU with a 27.450
- ESU notched 25.25 in the Pyramid Event which included a best score of 9.45 in the Open Heat to find themselves trailing West Liberty by eight, 93.550-85.300, at the halftime break.
- Out of the intermission, the Warriors registered scores of 8.75 in the 450 Salto heat, 8.50 in the synchronized heat, and 7.85 in the open heat to total 24.80 in the Toss Event.
- In Tumbling, ESU finished with 45.350 across the six events as the Warriors posted a pair of 8.0+ scores with a 7.300 in the duo pass, a 7.550 in the trio pass, a 6.300 in the quad pass, an 8.225 in the aerial pass, an 8.375 in the 6-element pass, and a 7.650 in the open pass.
- ESU ended the afternoon with an 81.62 in the Team event to finish the meet with a total of 237.070.
