This season against the Marauders: Wednesday’s contest marks the third time this season ESU and Millersville have met, with the two longtime foes earning wins on their respective home courts. In the most recent meeting on Feb. 24 at Pucillo Gymnasium, Millersville built a 14-point lead in the second half, before the Warriors came back to tie the contest three times over the final three minutes. Scouting Millersville: The Marauders earned a first-round bye by clinching the two-seed, seeing its nine-game winning streak snapped by Lock Haven in the regular season finale. Millersville started its winning-streak after falling to ESU in Koehler Fieldhouse on Jan 27. Along with advancing in the PSAC Tournament, a win for either team could help secure an NCAA Tournament at-large bid, with Millersville ranking fifth and ESU sixth in the most recent NCAA DII Atlantic Region rankings last Wednesday.

PSAC Tournament history against ‘Ville: The 2024 quarterfinal matchup marks the fifth time the two divisional foes have met in the conference tournament. ESU holds a 3-1 lead in the series, with the Warriors taking the two most recent meetings in the 2015 quarterfinals (79-62) and 2014 quarterfinals (78-58) at Koehler Fieldhouse. Millersville earned a 63-59 win in 2007 at Pucillo Gymnasium in the quarterfinals, while ESU took down the Marauders 108-102 in double overtime to capture its first PSAC Championship in 1990. The 108-point output was the previous postseason high for ESU, before Monday’s 114-72 win.

PSAC Tournament History: ESU is now 23-17 all-time in the PSAC Tournament and looks to improve its 5-8 road record and its 11-9 quarterfinal record on Wednesday.
