SEGUIN, TEXAS – The East Stroudsburg University acrobatics and tumbling team picked up its third straight victory as the Warriors defeated Texas Lutheran, 245.750-223.750, on Wednesday afternoon inside Memorial Gymnasium.

ESU won their third meet in a row for the first time in program history and recorded their third highest score all-time as the Warriors improved to 3-2 on the season while the Bulldogs dropped to 0-4.
How it Happened
- After setting a new program record in the Compulsory just two days ago, ESU returned to the mat and registered the third highest total in school history as the Warriors notched 35.500 points, including an 8.900 in Acro, 9.500 in Pyramid, 9.250 in Toss and 7.900 in Tumbling.
- In the Acro Event, ESU scored 26.45 points after totaling 8.85 in 5 Element, 8.65 in 6 Element and 8.95 in 7 Element.
- ESU finished strong into halftime as the Warriors tied the school record in the Pyramid Event with 28.30 points, bringing their total to 90.30 compared to 81.00 for Texas Lutheran. The Warriors had 9.40 in Inversion, 9.25 in Synchronized and 9.65 in the Open Heat.
- After the 15 minute intermission, ESU used a 7.80 in 450 Salto, 8.44 in Synchronized and 7.95 in the Open Heats to record 24.190 points in the Toss Event.
- Moving to the Tumbling Event, the Warriors scored the second highest point total in program history at 47.725 which included an 8.050 (Duo Pass), 7.950 (Trio Pass), 6.850 (Quad Pass), 8.500 (Ariel Pass), 8.900 (6 Element Pass) and 8.250 (Open Pass) across the six different heats.
- ESU continued to impress in the Team Event as the Warriors registered the third highest score all-time at 83.570 to bring their total score to 245.785.
