EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The East Stroudsburg University men's wrestling team defeated New Jersey City University, 36-15, in its first dual meet of the new year Friday night.
 
Notables

Josh Jasionowicz, Jason Schubert, No. 14 Layton Schmick and Augustus Warke all won by pins, with Jasionowicz, Schubert and Schmick each winning by first-period pins.
 
Austin Noe also defeated his opponent in the first period with a dominating 15-0 technical fall.
 
Robert Burke, the former PSAC Wrestler of the Week, went the full length to defeat his opponent by major decision.
 
Marc Kleyman won his match by a 5-0 decision after going up 4-0 in the first period.
