LEWISBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University women's track and field team competed at the Gulden Invitational on Saturday, highlighted by two conference-leading marks and three new PSAC automatic qualifiers.
Payton Falkenstein (5000-meter) led the Warriors with her first-place finish.
PSAC Automatic Qualifiers
Falkenstein (5000-meter),
Daniella Napoli (5000-meter) and
Riley Trentowski (800-meter) headlined the new PSAC automatic qualifiers.
Running Highlights
In the 60-meter prelims,
Kristian Dorsett and
Alyssa Vogt both surpassed their previous personal bests. Later, Porschia Bennet set a new personal best in the 400-meter.
Trentowski finished second in the 800-meter with a time of 2:19.24, moving into first place in the conference.
Aubrey Bonner also recorded a personal best in the event.
ESU had four personal bests in the mile, with
Marissa McDougall,
Sidney Hutt,
Gabriela Orama and
Kiera Wimbush all setting new career bests.
Falkenstein headlined the day with a first-place finish in the 5000-meter with a time of 17:52.98. Napoli finished 4th (18:23.74), and
Mia Sisilli recorded a personal best.
Field Highlights
Samiyah Little led the field events with a second-place finish in the weight throw and a new conference-leading throw of 57-04.25.
Olivia Sforza and
Bailey Grassman also set personal bests in the weight throw.
Reese Ruggiero tied her personal best in the pole vault with a clearance of 10-11.75.
