EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Coming off a record-shattering 43-win season and its third consecutive NCAA Tournament berth, East Stroudsburg University baseball head coach John Kochmansky has announced the Warriors’ 2025 schedule, featuring a challenging 49-game slate.
ESU opens the season against Molloy at the USA Baseball National Training Complex—site of the NCAA Division II Championships—in Cary, N.C., on Feb. 15-16. The Warriors will also make their return to Coca-Cola Park, home of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, with a doubleheader against conference rival Millersville on May 1. In total, ESU will host 28 home regular-season games at Creekview Park.
“We open up with a 42-win Molloy team in Cary, N.C., followed by home weekend series that are highlighted by a 31-win D’Youville team and a pair of 37-win teams in Frostburg State and Southern New Hampshire,” Kochmansky said of the challenging 2025 schedule. “Molloy and Frostburg State were regional qualifiers in 2024, and Southern New Hampshire represented the East Region in the College World Series. This will be a very challenging stretch of the season but one that will surely prepare us for the always difficult PSAC East.”
After battling Molloy at the NCAA Division II Championship site on Feb. 16-17, ESU returns to the friendly confines of Creekview Park for its next 15 games against D’Youville (Feb. 22-23), Saint Anselm (March 1-2), Frostburg State (March 8-9), Caldwell (March 11) and Southern New Hampshire (March 15-16).
The Warriors will play their first true road games and open PSAC East action on March 21 in a rematch of the 2024 PSAC Championship against West Chester. After hosting the Golden Rams on March 22, ESU faces Bloomsburg (March 28-29) and Mansfield (April 4-5) before stepping out of conference to host Pace (April 9). The Warriors then continue their four-game series against Shippensburg (April 11-12) and travel to Pleasantville, N.Y., to complete the home-and-home with Pace (April 15).
Following a series against Shepherd (April 18-19), ESU wraps up its nonconference slate with a matchup against Saint Thomas Aquinas (April 22). The Warriors close out the regular season with series against Kutztown (April 25-26) and Millersville (May 1-2). ESU will host the Marauders at Coca-Cola Park to open May with a doubleheader at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
The PSAC Championships will take place at Millersville from May 7-10, with the NCAA Atlantic Regional kicking off the NCAA Tournament on May 15. The Warriors aim to finish where they started—at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C.—for the NCAA Division II National Championships beginning May 31.
