EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University men's soccer team fell to West Chester University by a final score of 1-0 in a home contest on October 8, held at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

Despite the setback, the Warriors controlled the shot count, out-shooting West Chester 16-10 overall. ESU registered nine shots in the first half and seven in the second. The team also matched West Chester with three total corner kicks for the game.

The Warriors' offense was led by

How it Happened
The Golden Rams secured the single goal of the match during the first half. West Chester's Ian Alicea found the back of the net at the 35:15 mark, scoring on an assist credited to Owen Slack. This goal gave West Chester the 1-0 lead, which would prove to be the eventual final margin.
