LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — The East Stroudsburg field hockey team placed six athletes on All-PSAC teams, the league office announced Monday.

Seniors Charlotte Simon and Elaiana Rivera-Lagalla highlighted the group by earning First Team honors, followed by senior Kerry Kaufman and junior Minke Klijn on the Second Team. Seniors Bella Viruet and Emma Friend were named to the Third Team.

Simon was a Second Team honoree last season, as well as a Division II All-American Second team. The senior from Germany anchored down a defense that held opponents to 1.06 goals per game, ceded only 7.3 shots per game, and allowed one goal or less 12 times this season.

Rivera-Lagalla made her first all-conference team off a breakout season with six goals and six assists working out of the midfield. She tallied the game-winning goal in the Warriors' 1-0 win at Assumption in the second game of the season and recorded her first career game with a goal and assist against Slippery Rock in a 3-1 win.

Kaufman was also a member of the All-PSAC Second Team and Division II All-American Second Team in 2024, making her second all-conference appearance this season. Kaufman set a career-high in scoring with six goals and seven assists for 19 points, recording three game-winning goals.

Klijn was the Warriors' leading scorer on the season, finishing second in the PSAC with 15 goals and nine assists. Klijn had six games of four or more points, and was also named the PSAC Field Hockey Athlete of the Week for her nine-point stretch across three games that included ESU's 3-2 win against Shippensburg. Klijn jumped up a team from last year when she made the All-PSAC Third Team in 2024.

Friend was another member of the Warriors' strong senior class who took another step forward with her play this season, finishing second on the team and eighth in the conference in scoring with 30 points on 11 goals and eight assists. Friend's season featured two five-point games and a seven-point outburst against Adelphi, as well as a PSAC Athlete of the Week award in the final week of the regular season.

Viruet made her second All-PSAC Third Team after earning the nod last year as well. The back worked alongside Simon on the defensive side of the field, and also contributed with three goals, including her first multi-goal performance against Pace in a 8-0 shutout.
