EAST STOUDSBURG, Pa. -- East Stroudsburg University volleyball senior Anna Coulter repeats as a Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-America First Team selection and earned American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America Third Team honors. Freshman Marta Leeland earned AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, released on Wednesday.
Middle blocker Coulter repeats as a D2CCA All-America First Team selection, previously earning the honor in 2024 and honorable mention in 2023. She also tabbed AVCA All-America Third Team recognition after earning honorable mention in 2024. She becomes the first player to earn two All-America honors in volleyball history and is the first Warrior to earn a spot on the AVCA All-America teams.
Coulter is the second player in program history to earn a spot on an All-America team since Ann Gladfelter was named to the All-America team in 1981 by the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW). Coulter is the only player in the PSAC to earn All-America Team recognition.
Coulter rounded out her career with a remarkable season, becoming the first Warrior to earn PSAC East Athlete of the Year honors for the third consecutive year. She also became the second Warrior in volleyball history to earn All-PSAC First Team honors for all four years and also tabbed five weekly PSAC honors this season. Coulter is a three-time D2CCA Atlantic Region First Team selection, 2025 D2CCA Atlantic Region Player of the Year, 2025 AVCA Atlantic Region Player of the Year, and a two-time AVCA Atlantic Region First Team selection.
This season, Coulter recorded a high of 11 blocks on Sept. 5 and totaled four matches with 10 total blocks. She recorded a career high of 23 kills against Seton Hill in the PSAC Quarterfinals and posted four matches with 20+ kills. She also notched three five game streaks with double digit kills.
This season in the record book, Coulter ranked fifth in kills (439), 11th in kills/set (3.63), fifth in attack percentage (.356), first in blocks (200), first in blocks/set (1.65), and recorded 600 points. Anna led the conference in blocks/set, points/set, total blocks, total points, and was second in total kills, third in hitting percentage, and fourth in kills/set this season. Nationally, Coulter ranks second in blocks/set, first in total blocks, 12th in points/set, 15th in total kills, and 33rd in hitting percentage.
In the record book she ranks third in kills (1,364), fourth in kills/set (3.22), first in attack percentage (.370), fifth in sets played (424), first in blocks (518), second in blocks/set (1.22), and recorded 1,845 points throughout her career.
Leeland was named an AVCA All-America Honorable Mention. Other Warriors have received honorable mentions in recent years. In 2019, Trea-sure Ketter earned a D2CCA honorable mention, and Coulter herself was a D2CCA honorable mention in 2023 and American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) honorable mention in 2023 and 2024.
Leeland notched AVCA Atlantic Region Honorable Mention, was an All-PSAC First Team selection, and earned PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week honors on Oct. 6.
This season, she recorded three or more aces in six matches and notched a high of six against West Chester on Nov. 8. Leeland recorded 11 matches with 20+ digs and recorded a high of 33 on Oct. 18 against Bloomsburg.
In the record book she ranks fifth in season digs (600), third in career digs/set (4.96), third in season aces (55), and tied for fourth in career aces/set (0.45). Leeland also owns two freshman records in aces and digs. She is second in digs/set (4.96) and third in aces/set. She ranked fifth in the conference and 43rd nationally in digs/set, first in the conference and 23rd nationally in total aces, first in the conference and 15th nationally in total digs.
The Warriors finished the 2025 season 27-6 overall and 13-1 in the PSAC East, won the program's sixth PSAC title, and made their fourth NCAA Tournament appearance under fifth year head coach Tricia Melfy.
