NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced that the East Stroudsburg University women's lacrosse team has moved up to No. 8 in the latest IWLCA Top 25 poll.
The Warriors secured a dominant 17-6 win over Jefferson, scoring eight consecutive goals in the second half to power their way to an 11-point victory.
Of Division II teams with only one game played their tied for sixth in goals, fifth in caused turnovers, and fourth in save percentage with
Abby Simonetti in goal.
ESU returns to action on Saturday, March 1, with a matchup at Lock Haven set for noon.
