LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University women's lacrosse team earned its second straight victory with a 17-10 win over Lock Haven on Saturday at Charlotte Smith Field.
The Warriors (2-0) have now scored 17 goals in back-to-back games, reinforcing their status as the No. 8 team in Division II.

Sophomore
Ariana Tucci and freshman
Sadie Kauffman led ESU, combining for 12 goals and six assists.
Tucci tallied six goals and added five assists, while Kauffman continued her strong start with six goals, one assist and 10 draw controls.
Goalkeeper
Abby Simonetti recorded 17 saves and helped the Warriors stop nine free-position attempts.
Lauren Hallman notched a hat trick with three goals.
How It Happened
Lock Haven kept the game close for early, even leading 2-0 in the first period before Kauffman and Hallman combined for four straight goals to take a lead they would never relinquish.
With a 5-4 lead ESU would rip off four straight goals including two straight by Tucci and entered the half up 10-5.
Kauffman who scored the last goal in the half opened up the second scoring two more goals. Later in the third Tucci would cap off the day scoring three straight goals to bring ESU to its final goal count of 17.
