EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University baseball team continued its dominant start to the season, improving to 10-0 after sweeping another doubleheader. This marks the program's first 10-0 start since 2016.
The Warriors (10-0) kept rolling on both sides of the ball, piling on runs against Saint Anselm (2-5) while limiting the Hawks at the plate.
Hitting Notables
Francisco Taveras recorded two hits, two RBIs, three runs scored, and drew three walks across both games.
Shanley Wall added two hits, three RBIs, and three runs.
Cameron Hubbard and
Parker Frey each drove in two RBIs in Game 1. Hubbard also had a hit, two walks, and a run scored, while Frey collected two hits, three walks, and a run scored.
Pitching Notables
Peyton Brannock (3-0) tossed 4.1 shutout innings, allowing just one hit while striking out three to earn his third win of the season.
Ethan Woods (2-0) pitched four scoreless innings, striking out two to keep ESU in control.

The Warriors dominated both at the plate and on the mound in the opener. ESU struck early, scoring two runs in the first inning on a Frey single. The offense exploded in the fourth, plating five runs with only one hit. Later on in the sixth
Jack Rothenhausler drove in the final run for the Warriors as the team took game 1 by the score of 8-2.

ESU jumped ahead 4-0 after two innings, highlighted by a two-run single from Hubbard. Saint Anselm threatened in the fifth, scoring and loading the bases, but
Johansel Brito entered and delivered a crucial strikeout to minimize the damage. In the sixth, Taveras tacked on an insurance run, and
Caden Parker closed out the game after allowing two baserunners, securing the win.
