MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The No. 13 East Stroudsburg University women's lacrosse team claimed a hard-fought 13-11 victory over Millersville on Saturday, moving to a conference record of 2-1.
With the win, the Warriors move to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in the PSAC, while the Marauders drop to 5-3 overall and 1-2 in conference play. The victory positions ESU in third place in the PSAC standings, while Millersville sits in fifth.
Notables
Sadie Kauffman led the Warriors with five goals to conclude the week with nine goals and six assists.
Jolee Roth registered two goals and three assists, including a key, fourth-quarter score to help put the game away.
Lauren Hallman netted a hat trick and contributed three assists.

How It Happened
Millersville jumped out to a strong start, taking a 5-2 lead after the first period. The Warriors responded in the second quarter, outscoring the Marauders 4-1 to tie the game at halftime, 6-6.
The third quarter saw East Stroudsburg take a slim 9-8 advantage behind goals from Tucci and Kauffman.
In the final frame, the Warriors broke open the contest with a flurry of goals from Roth and Kauffman to seal the victory. Millersville's late push fell short, giving East Stroudsburg the edge in the 13-11 win.
