East Stroudsburg, PA — In a high-energy PSAC East showdown, the East Stroudsburg University Warriors defended their home turf with a 16–9 victory over the visiting Kutztown Bears on Saturday afternoon, powered by a balanced offensive attack and a lockdown defensive effort.
Offensive Notables:
The Warriors' offense was firing on all cylinders, leading the charge for ESU was Sadie Kauffman, who had a dominant performance with 6 goals and 3 assists, playing a pivotal role in the Warriors' offensive success. Hannah Schiemer followed up with a strong showing of her own, netting 4 goals and adding an assist.
The Warriors spread the wealth on offense, with additional goals from Jolee Roth (2), Maddy Poltrack (1), Paige Moreland (1), Campbell Heller (1), and Lauren Hallman (1). The team's unselfish play was on full display, as six different players recorded assists, including Kauffman, Moreland, Schiemer, Heller, Ariana Tucci, and Hallman.
