Fredericks, Gorham, Stevenosky Earn All-America First Team Placements on Final Day of NCAA Championships

 PUEBLO, Colo. — On the final day of the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships, East Stroudsburg University's Luke Stevenosky, Chris Fredericks, Peter Stanislavsky and Cole Gorham wrapped up competition, with Stevenosky, Fredericks and Gorham earning All-America First Team honors and helping the Warriors to tie for a 14th place finish.
 
High Jump
Peter Stanislavsky opened the day for the Warriors in the high jump, finishing 16th with a mark of 2.02 meters (6 feet, 7½ inches). He is the fourth athlete in program history to compete in the high jump at the outdoor championships, and the first since William Berry in 2015.
 
Javelin
In the javelin, Chris Fredericks and Luke Stevenosky delivered standout performances.
 
Fredericks claimed third place with a school-record throw of 71.76 meters (235 feet, 5 inches) on his final attempt.
 
Stevenosky secured seventh place with a throw of 66.98 meters (219 feet, 9 inches) on his third attempt, earning a spot in the finals.
 
They are the first ESU athletes to earn All-America honors in the javelin since Matt Tholis (second) and Josh Hontz (fifth) in 2013.
 
Shot Put
Senior Cole Gorham closed out the 2025 ESU track and field season with a third-place finish in the shot put, marking 18.34 meters (60 feet, 2 inches) on his final throw. With the result, Gorham became the first athlete in program history to earn two All-America honors during the same outdoor championship weekend.
 
Gorham concludes his career with five All-America accolades:
