2025 Season Highlights: East Stroudsburg’s javelin standout
Chris Fredericks capped off a sensational season with a
3rd-place finish at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships, launching a career-best throw of
71.76m (235' 5"). The performance earned him
All-American honors, showcasing his rise into the upper echelon of national competition.
Fredericks built momentum all spring, starting with a runner-up finish at the Keystone State Challenge, and quickly climbed the ranks with back-to-back podium throws at the Delaware Invitational (63.97m, 1st) and All-American Invitational (64.86m, 2nd). His consistency held strong at the Penn Relays, where he recorded a 64.90m throw against elite regional talent.
At the PSAC Outdoor Championships, Fredericks held his own in a tightly contested field, securing 4th place with a 63.20m mark. His season was defined by steady improvement, peak performance when it mattered most, and a competitive edge that powered ESU’s throws program to new heights.
