KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The East Stroudsburg University men's basketball team has been honored with the prestigious 2024-25 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). This recognition celebrates programs that achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the academic year — with ESU proudly posting a 3.262 GPA across its roster.

In addition to the team accolade, individual Warriors were named to the NABC Honors Court, which highlights junior, senior, and graduate student-athletes who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. These honors reflect the commitment of ESU's student-athletes to excellence both on the court and in the classroom.

This year, nearly 400 programs earned the Team Academic Excellence Award, and over 2,400 players were named to the Honors Court nationwide. ESU's inclusion among these elite academic performers underscores the university's holistic approach to student-athlete development.
