EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The East Stroudsburg University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams are poised for a breakout season, both earning the No. 2 spot in the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) preseason rankings.
The
men's squad, which received one first-place vote, returns its entire roster from the 2024 campaign—a team that made waves with five runners placing in the top 25 at last year's PSAC Championship. Leading the charge are veterans
Landon Boyle (12th),
Bryce Keenoy (14th),
Brian McGarrity (17th),
Ethan Holcomb (18th), and
Andrew Tatesure (23rd), all of whom bring experience and depth to a lineup hungry for a podium finish.
On the
women's side, the Warriors garnered six first-place votes after a strong third-place team finish at the 2024 PSAC meet. The team returns three top-25 finishers: standout
Payton Falkenstein (6th),
Carla Bautista (15th), and
Gabriela Orama (25th), each expected to be key contributors in the upcoming season.
With both teams returning top-tier talent and building on last year's momentum, East Stroudsburg is set to be a major contender in the 2025 PSAC cross country season.
