EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — ESU Baseball earned team and individual recognition on Tuesday afternoon, as the Warriors were voted 12
th in the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Poll, and OF
Shanley Wall and SP
Ethan Woods were named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Preseason All-Atlantic Region Team.
Coming off a 41-16 2025 season, ESU received 200 points in the rankings and begin the season as the top PSAC Team in the ABCA poll. The Warriors are one of four PSAC teams to be ranked in the top 30, with two others receiving votes. ESU finished last season ranked 10
th by the ABCA after its first Atlantic Region Championship and began the year outside the top 30.
Wall, a two-time All-PSAC East Second Team member, is one of the Warriors' top returning position players in 2026. Wall led the conference in walks and sacrifice flies last year while also ranking 10
th in stolen bases. The senior outfielder is a career .358 hitter with an OBP of .456, as well as an All-Region First Team member of the 2024 ABCA, D2CCA, and NCBWA teams
Woods broke onto the scene last year in his first season at ESU, coming over from Northampton Community College, earning All-PSAC East First Team honors. He posted a 2.06 ERA with 32 strikeouts in 43.2 innings. Woods was also named to the ABCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team for his performance last year.
The Warriors begin the season with two games against Felician and one against Molloy, who were ranked 19
th and received votes, respectively.
