EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The East Stroudsburg University men's and women's track & field teams are set to compete in the 2026 PSAC Indoor Championships on Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1 at Rauch Fieldhouse on the campus of Lehigh University.

Last Time Out – 2025 PSAC Men's Indoor Championship
- The ESU men's team placed second at last year's meet with 121.6 points.
- In the field events, the Warriors won four events including the high jump, triple jump, shot put, and weight throw.
- Returners Daniel Smith and Anthony Voto took first in the high jump and weight throw, respectively. Voto also placed fourth in the shot put with a mark of 16.76m.
- Miguel Charlery placed seventh in the 200m with a mark of 22.56.
- The men's 4x400m relay placed second with a time 3:21.77.
- In the high jump, Albert Morton took third, while Peter Stanislavsky, Kamoni Smith-Johnson, and Jaden Johnson all tied for sixth with a mark of 1.94m.
- Stanislavksy also placed seventh in the long jump (6.91m) and fifth in the triple jump (14.05m).
- Jaden Johnson and Daniel Smith placed second and third respectively in the triple jump.
Men's Notes
- The men's team has 30 total athletes competing and qualified for 15 events, ranging from sprints, distance, and field events.
- The PSAC record holder in the weight throw, Anthony Voto, is looking to repeat as the champion. Voto broke the conference record at the Harvard Invitational on Jan. 30 with a throw of 20.56m (67-05.50). His mark is currently tied for eighth in the nation.
- Daniel Smith, the 2025 champion in the high jump, is also looking to repeat as the champion. He currently holds the top conference mark of 2.12m, while he ranks first in the region and is tied for 13th nationally.
- ESU holds the top four conference marks in the high jump, while the group ranks fourth in Division II.
- In the triple jump, ESU ranks third out of 39 teams in Division II, as they rank four in the top 15 in the region. Nasir Heard, Jayden Brown, and Daniel Smith have all recorded NCAA Provisional marks.
- Miguel Charlery qualified for both the 60m and 200m. His times of 6.93 in the 60m and 21.94 in the 200m both rank 11th in the conference.
- Nico Gasque has also qualified for both the 60m and 200m. In the conference standings he ranks 17th in the 60m and 12th in the 200m.
- In the 200m, all three sprinters hold top 10 marks in program history.
- ESU qualified four sprinters in the 400m, while Mark Jackson leads the Warriors with a mark of 47.54 that ranks second in the conference.
- In the 60m hurdles, Raqeeb Somoye ranks fourth in the conference with an 8.23 mark.
- In the mile, 3000m, and 5000m, the Warriors total seven entries. Both Andrew Tatesure and Ethan Holcomb have qualified for the 3000m and 5000m, while Matthew McNair has qualified for the mile and 5000m.
- The men's 4x400m relay is slotted third in the conference with a time of 3:17.39, looking to reach the podium in consecutive years.

- The ESU women's team placed third at last year's meet with 82.75 points.
- The Warriors won five total events including the 800m, 5000m, high jump, triple jump, and weight throw.
- The returning winners are Riley Trentowski (800m), Porschia Bennett (HJ), and Shannon Harnett (TJ).
- Shannon Harnett also took silver in the high jump with a mark of 1.67m and bronze in the long jump (5.59m).
- In the 60m hurdles, Makayla Smith placed seventh with a time of 9.19.
- The DMR placed fifth at last year's championship with a time of 12:26.80.
- In the pole vault, Reese Ruggiero took seventh with a mark of 3.35m.
Women's Notes
- The women's team has 24 total athletes competing and qualified for 16 events, ranging from sprints, distance, and field events.
- Aaliyah Cancel has qualified for both the 200m and 400m. In the conference standings, she ranks 14th in the 200m and third in the 400m. Her time of 57.82 in the 400m ranks fourth all-time in ESU history.
- Riley Trentowski is positioned for podium finishes in both the 800m and the mile, with her times ranking second in the PSAC in each event. Ashley Landis also enters the 800m ranked fifth in the conference.
- The DMR is currently ranked third with a time of 12:38.02.
- In the high jump, ESU ranks fourth out of 72 teams in Division II, as they rank three in the top 15 in the region. Porschia Bennett and Shannon Harnett have recorded NCAA Provisional marks.
- Porschia Bennett leads the conference and is tied for 10th nationally in the high jump with a mark of 1.75m (5-08.75), an NCAA provisional mark.
- Shannon Harnett ranks first in the conference in the triple jump, tied for second in the high jump, and 12th in the long jump. She will look to defend her conference title in the triple jump after breaking her own school record at the Widener Indoor Classic on Feb. 14 with a leap of 12.10m (39-08.50).

- In the pole vault, Aina Galan ranks No. 1 in the conference and set a school record of 3.75m (12-03.50) at the DeSchriver Invitational on Feb. 8. Reese Ruggiero enters the meet ranked fourth in the conference.
- In the shot put, Gabriela Pifano ranks third while Emily Edelman ranks seventh. Edelman also ranks 18th in the shot put while Bailey Grassmann ranks 12th.
- In the pentathlon, both Aoife McAuley and Victoria Phillips will be competing. In the standings McAuley is tied for fifth with 3081 points.
