MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The No. 15 East Stroudsburg University softball team was held scoreless in a pair of games against No. 5 Saginaw Valley State and No. 23 Barry on Saturday.
Game 1 – Saginaw Valley State
Sarah Davenport (L, 1-1) allowed just three hits and one run while striking out six batters.
Tulana Mingin and Kinsley Proepper each extended their hitting streaks to three games with singles. Mingin singled to shortstop in the bottom of the first inning but was later out on a fielder's choice. In the seventh, Proepper singled through the right side and advanced after Katie Master was hit by a pitch. Following a strikeout, the game ended on a fielder's choice out at third base.
Game 2 – Barry
Tulana Mingin recorded the lone hit for the Warriors, singling up the middle in her first at bat of the game.
The Buccaneers got on the board in the first inning and added five more runs on four hits in the second. In the fourth inning, Barry added three more runs on one hit and one error.

The Warriors close out the Florida trip with a doubleheader at Nova Southeastern on Sunday, February 8. The first pitch is scheduled for 12:00 p.m., followed by the second game at 2:00 p.m.
