CHESTER, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University women's track and field team earned two first place finishes and added seven more automatic PSAC qualifying marks at the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University.

Track Highlights
Aaliyah Cancel earned an automatic PSAC qualifying mark in the 200m with a sixth place finish in 25.59. Cancel also placed 10th in the 100m with a time of 12.57.
Alyssa Vogt placed 28th in the 100m and 33rd in the 400m.
Riley Trentowski placed eighth in the 800m with an automatic PSAC qualifying time of 2:20.74. Hannah Skelly followed in 20th, Carla Bautista placed 27th, Morgan Salmon placed 28th, and three more Warriors placed in the top 50. Trentowski earned another qualifying mark in the 1500m, finishing seventh in 4:50.46.
In the 10000m, Sarah Williams and Kiera Wimbush placed sixth and seventh respectively, both earning automatic PSAC qualifying marks.
In the 400m hurdles, Eyinah Smith placed 11th (1:10.84), Makayla Smith placed 12th (1:11.08), and Karla Tshiyonga placed 16th (1:12.47). Tshiyonga also placed 14th in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.28.
Field Highlights
Porschia Bennett won the high jump after she cleared 1.70m (5-7) to earn both an automatic PSAC qualifying and NCAA Provisional marks.
Aina Galan won the pole vault with an automatic PSAC qualifying mark of 3.65m (11-11 ¾), which is tied for second in the record book. Reese Ruggiero placed second with a mark of 3.50m (11-5 ¾).
Shannon Harnett took second in the long jump with an automatic PSAC qualifying mark of 5.68m (18-7 ¾).
In the shot put, Gabriela Pifano led the Warriors with her fourth place finish and mark of 11.57m (37-11 ½). Emily Edelman placed seventh with a mark of 11.24m (36-10 ½).
Zianna Dobson placed third in the discus with a qualifying mark of 40.38m (132-6). Shaela Bedell placed third in the javelin with a mark of 36.40m (119-5).
