NEWARK, Del. -- The East Stroudsburg University women's track and field team began the weekend competing at the Delaware Collegiate Invitational, hosted by the University of Delaware on Friday. The Warriors won one event and added one additional automatic PSAC qualifying mark.

Track Highlights
Aaliyah Cancel placed third in the 400m with a PSAC mark of 57.93.
The 4x100m relay consisting of Cancel, Vogt, M. Smith, and E. Smith placed third with a time of 48.91.
Field Highlights
Porschia Benett placed fourth in the high jump with a PSAC mark of 1.65m (5 feet 5 inches).
In the pole vault, Aina Galan won and broke the school record with a mark of 3.73m (12 feet 2 ¾ inches). Galan now holds both the indoor and outdoor records.
In the long jump, Shannon Harnett took second with a mark of 5.43m (17 feet 9 ¾ inches).
Anastasia Dakes earned an automatic qualifying PSAC mark in the discus with a throw of 39.05m (128 feet 1 inch).
Shaela Bedell placed second in the javelin with a PSAC mark of 39.42m (129 feet 4 inches).
