INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The ESU baseball team was listed in the first Atlantic Region rankings, the NCAA revealed Wednesday evening.

The Warriors are 27-12 so far and are one of seven PSAC teams in the rankings. Frostburg State is the lone team outside the conference to earn a spot in the initial list. Additionally, ESU is joined in the rankings by Bloomsburg, Millersville, Shippensburg, and West Chester representing the PSAC East. Indiana (Pa.) and Seton Hill make up the final two teams.

The list is sorted alphabetically, but the Warriors are currently tied for first in the PSAC East with West Chester, and are receiving votes in the latest American Baseball Coaches Association poll that came out on April 21. ESU has played four of the other seven teams listed, sweeping Shippensburg and defeating Bloomsburg three times in four-game series. They split with Millersville to open conference play, and fell 3-1 to the Golden Rams.

Winners of their last 11, the Warriors look to continue their win streak this week as they take on Shepherd. The series begins at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Shepherdstown, W. Va.
