Women's Track and Field Won Four Events and Added Three PSAC Qualifying Marks at All-American Meet

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University women's track and field team won four events and added three additional automatic PSAC qualifying marks at the All-American Meet. 

PSAC Qualifiers  

Track Events 

Alyssa Vogt placed second in the 100m with a time of 12.91 and finished fourth in the 200m in 26.37.

Aaliyah Cancel won the 400m and took second in the 200m with PSAC qualifying marks in both events. She recorded times of 57.25 in the 400m and 25.37 in the 200m.

Makayla Smith finished second in the 100m hurdles with an automatic PSAC qualifying time of 15.36 and also placed third in the 200m.

Field Events 

Shannon Harnett won both the high jump and triple jump, earning automatic PSAC qualifying marks in each. She cleared 1.73m (5-8) in the high jump and posted a mark of 11.88m (38-11 ¾) in the triple jump. Her high jump mark tied the meet record and met NCAA provisional standards.

Porschia Bennett placed second in the high jump with an automatic PSAC qualifying mark of 1.67m (5-5 ¾).

In the pole vault, Aina Galan and Reese Ruggiero placed first and second, respectively, after clearing 3.66m (12-0) to earn automatic PSAC qualifying marks. They both are tied for second all-time.  

In the shot put, Gabriela Pifano placed fifth with an automatic PSAC qualifying mark of 12.13m (39-9 ¾).  

Zianna Dobson took third in the discus and second in the javelin, earning PSAC qualifying marks in both. She recorded a mark of 39.29m (128-11) in the discus, while her javelin throw of 41.18m (135-1) ranks seventh all-time.

Shaela Bedell also earned an automatic PSAC qualifying mark in the javelin with a throw of 39.33m (129-0).
