2025 Season Highlights: Capping off a standout senior season, Abigail Weirich was named First Team All-PSAC East and earned First Team NFCA Division II All-Atlantic Region honors for her stellar play. She hit .398 over 61 games, collecting 82 hits and driving in 61 RBIs. Weirich filled the stat sheet with 17 doubles, 5 triples, 6 home runs, and a remarkable 41 stolen bases. Her season included a 4-hit, 3-RBI game vs. Kutztown (Apr. 9), a triple at West Chester (Apr. 22), and a 3-RBI homer at Lock Haven (Apr. 16). She also scored three runs in a postseason win over Shepherd (May 3).
On the defensive side, Weirich maintained a .968 fielding percentage with 59 putouts and 2 assists over 63 total chances. Her all-around performance and leadership were instrumental in East Stroudsburg’s success during a competitive postseason run.
2024: Played 60 games… recorded 61 hits, seven doubles, three triples, and five home runs… scored 46 runs and contributed 42 RBIs… season high with four hits against Molloy (3/3)… two doubles against Mansfield (4/7)... three stolen bases at Wilmington (Del.) (3/12)… averaged .316.
2023: Breakout season, Earning All-PSAC East Second Team honors as ESU's left fielder ... provided power, tying Jada Smallwood (same season) with 51 RBIs for the most by a Warrior in one season ... elite at stealing bases with 32 swipes in 33 opportunities, third most SBs in a season ... tied with Mary Wallick with a 19-game hitting streak, the longest since at least 2002 ... fifth most hits in a single season (65) ... ranked second on the team with a .344 batting average and home runs (5).
2022: Appeared in 27 games, making 11 starts ... scored 12 runs and posted five hits on 37 at-bats ... one triple against USciences ... drove in three runs ... stole 11 bases on 12 attempts ... in the field, contributed five putouts, three of them coming against USciences.Â
