PSAC East Special Teams Athlete of the Week (9/27/25)
Redshirt Sophomore (2025): Made first All-PSAC team with Offensive Second Team appearance as a return specialist... Led the PSAC and was second in Division II in kickoff yards with 757, averaging 25.2 per return, was eighth in Division II in combined return yards with 757... Recorded 56 return yards on two attempts with a long of 37 yards in win over Pace (9/4)... Totaled 166 return yards on four attempts with a long of 57 yards in win at Gannon (9/13)... Returned a kick 95 yards for a touchdown in win at Lock Haven (9/27)... Tallied 157 return yards on seven attempts at Kutztown (11/1)... Recorded 64 return yards on three returns in win over Millersville (11/8).
Redshirt Freshman (2024): Elijah Carroll brought dynamic energy to East Stroudsburg’s special teams unit during his redshirt freshman campaign. Appearing in nine games, Carroll totaled seven kick returns for 148 yards, including a season-long 34-yard burst at Millersville (Oct. 5). He also contributed in the passing game, recording his first career reception—an 8-yard grab—at Pace (Sept. 5). Known for his speed and versatility, Carroll consistently provided a spark in the return game, with additional contributions against Lock Haven (31 yards), Shippensburg (24 yards), and Clarion (42 yards on two returns). His ability to flip field position and threaten in open space made him a valuable asset throughout the Warriors’ postseason-qualifying season.
Freshman (2023): Made appearances in three contests … two kick returns for 38 yards against Millersville (10/7) ... returned a punt for four yards against Seton Hill (9/18).
Background: Earned all-state, all county and all-conference honors ... named a recipient of Steve DiGregorio Young Man of the Year Award ... totaled over 1,000 all-purpose yards ... tutored members of the Eastside Football program and volunteered as a mentor to youth who are at risk at Youth Consolation Services ... member of The Omega Teens, a mentoring program run by the Lambda Upsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity ... principal's list ... member of National Honor Society ... aspires to earn both bachelor's and master's degree, along with being drafted in the NFL.
Terwilliger on Carroll: Elijah can make plays all over the field. He is dynamic returner and when the ball is in his hands, great things happen. He has elite speed and balance. He is a true Swiss Army Knife on the offensive side.
