2024 Season Highlights: Senior setter/defensive specialist Makaela McComas wrapped up her collegiate career with a versatile and gritty 2024 campaign, contributing across all six rotations in 63 sets. She tallied 162 digs, 21 service aces, and 27 total points, offering reliable defense and a steady serve under pressure.
McComas posted a season-best 15 digs in a five-set battle at Shepherd (Nov. 1) and notched 4.0 points and 3 aces in a standout win at Bloomsburg (Nov. 15). She also handed out a season-high 2 assists on four occasions and added key defensive performances in the back half of the schedule. Her leadership, adaptability, and defensive consistency helped fortify the Warriors’ backcourt during a strong 2024 run.
Junior (2023) (Season Stats): Played in all 29 matches, making 23 starts ... recorded 282 digs, 75 assists, 28 aces, four kills and two blocks ... posted 15 matches with 10+ digs ... registered her first career double-double with 21 assists and a career-best 19 digs vs. Shaw (9/2).
Sophomore (2022) (Season Stats): Played in 24 matches, making six starts ... notched 29 kills, 149 digs, 337 assists and a team-high 39 aces ... finished with five double-doubles ... recorded season-high's with 32 assists against Shippensburg (10/22), 14 digs vs. Caldwell (8/26) and at West Chester (10/28).
Freshman (2021) (Season Stats): Played in 22 matches and 79 sets in her first season with the Warriors ... recorded six kills, 162 digs, 96 assists, 15 aces ... had a season-high 25 assists vs. Daemen (9/4) ... notched a season-best 17 digs vs. Molly (9/18) and Bloomsburg (10/8).
