EAST STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University softball team will be hosting a Monica Abbott and College Skills Camp on Sunday Dec. 4 from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. inside Koehler Fieldhouse.
Abbott, a United States National Team member, will be in attendance. A two-time Olympic Silver Medalist, she continues to hold NCAA Division I career records in victories (189), shutouts (112), strikeouts (2,440) and single-season strikeouts (724) as a standout at the University of Tennessee.
The clinic will include all skills, including offense, defense, positional play, along with pitchers and catchers sessions with coaching staffs from ESU, Moravian, Muhlenberg and Wilkes confirmed to be in attendance.
The clinic will be broken out in groups based on age and skill for ages 11 to 18. In addition, there will be an All-Skills Camp for ages 10 and under from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with an opportunity to get an autograph and photo from Monica Abbott.

ESU Softball has matched and broken its wins record in 2021 and 2022. Over the past two seasons, the Warriors have posted a 63-27 record including a 35-7 record at Creekview Park.
