EAST STROUDSBURG – Wrestling at Koehler Fieldhouse for the final time this season, the East Stroudsburg University men's wrestling team dropped a 31-13 decision to Millersville in PSAC action on Saturday night.

The Warriors fall to 2-8 in the dual meets on the season and 1-5 in the conference while the Marauders improve to 5-8 overall and 2-5 in the league.

Millersville raced out to a 15-0 lead in the match following a pair of falls and a decision at 141 lbs. Bryce Parenti (4-4) responded for the Warriors at 149 lbs. by pinning Millersville's Josh Tuckey in the closing seconds to make the score 15-6. Jack Spahn (3-1) kept it rolling for ESU with a major decision (10-2) over the Marauders' Eli Tuckey to cut the deficit to 15-10.

Luke Ciampa (10-4) won the Warriors third straight following a 13-7 decision of Millersville's Guy DeLeonardis at 165 lbs. to get ESU within two at 15-13.

However, the Marauders answered by winning the final four matches, which included a fall at 184 lbs. to secure the 31-13 victory.
