PEMBROKE, N.C. – After playing to a 2-2 record a week ago, the East Stroudsburg University baseball team dropped out of National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Top 25 but were still receiving votes.
ESU were slotted as high as No. 12 last week and sit at 19-5 overall and 2-1 in the PSAC following their opening series against Shippensburg. The Warriors are second in the conference in stolen bases and rank ninth nationally with 66.
The Warriors are back in action on Friday for game one of the weekend series against Mansfield. ESU returns to Creekview Park on the following day for a twin bill versus the Mounties.
