EAST STROUDSBURG – Making their return to Koehler Fieldhouse for the first time in 72 days, the East Stroudsburg University men's wrestling team was downed by #16 Mercyhurst, 39-6, on Friday.
Squaring off against their third nationally ranked conference opponent of the season, the Warriors drop to 3-5 overall and 0-3 in the PSAC while the Lakers bring their record to 6-6 and 2-1 in the league.

- The Warriors got out to an early lead in the dual as sophomore Josh Jasionowicz grinded out a 6-4 decision over Billy Smith at 125 pounds to put ESU in front 3-0
- After four consecutive victories for the Lakers, Luke Ciampa got the Warriors back in the win column as the sophomore produced an 8-4 against Michael Clark to trim ESU's deficit to 16-6
- Jasionowicz improved his record to 16-5 overall and 3-2 in duals while Ciampa moved to 18-3 on the season and 3-2 in duals
