EAST STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University men's wrestling team came up just short in a back and forth match as the Warriors dropped a 24-21 decision to Seton Hill in a PSAC dual on Tuesday night from Koehler Fieldhouse.
The Warriors fall to 4-7 overall and 1-5 in the PSAC, while Seton Hill move to 5-9 on the season and 1-6 in the conference.
Prior to today's dual, the Warriors honored over 20 alumni who graduated between the years of 1961 and 2021.

Notables
- For the third consecutive match, the combination of Brady Carter (125) and Cameron Enriquez (133) got the Warriors out to an early lead. Carter produced a 9-3 decision over Seton Hill's Kyle Burkholder and Enriquez held on for a 3-1 against Williams Burgess to put ESU ahead 6-0
- After the Griffins jumped in front 12-6 on a pair of decisions and a fall, Luke Ciampa pinned Colby Romjue in 3:34 to even the match back at 12-12
- With the Warriors needing a pin after Seton Hill regained a 24-12 lead with falls at 174 and 184, sophomore Ajay Hiller posted a 6-2 decision over Nick Whittington to make the score 24-15
- At 285, Thomas Flood earned a forfeit victory to make the final score 24-21 in favor of the Griffins
- Carter pushes his record to 11-3 overall and 4-1 in duals, while Enriquez improves to 4-1 in both categories
- Ciampa continued his excellent sophomore campaign, moving to 21-3 on the season and 6-2 in duals while registering is 11th fall
- Hiller goes to 17-10 overall and 6-5 in duals, while Flood collected his first dual victory of his collegiate career
- The Griffins knock off the Warriors for the eighth consecutive time and push their all-time advantage in the series to 9-5
