ERIE – The East Stroudsburg University men's wrestling team wrapped up the weekend by dropping a PSAC dual to Mercyhurst, 37-12, on Saturday morning from the Recreation and Wellness Center.

With both teams receiving votes in this week's edition of NWCA Top 25, the Warriors dropped to 3-4 on the season and 0-4 in the PSAC while the Lakers improved to 6-4 overall and 3-1 in the PSAC.

ESU took a 6-0 lead to open the match as sophomore Brady Carter earned a forfeit win and freshman Layton Schmick produced the Warriors second victory as the 12th-ranked wrestler at 285 in this week's NWCA national rankings pinned Mercyhurst's Christian Taylor in 2:26.
