EAST STROUDSBURG, P.a – The East Stroudsburg University men's wrestling team won its first dual meet of the 2024-25 season, handily defeating Elmira, 56-0, Thursday night inside Speidel Gymnasium.
ESU's 56 points were the most since last season when the team swept Elmira by the same score at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Notables

• Francisco Perez-Gonzalez and Augustus Warke both won by technical fall, with scores of 15-0 and 17-2, respectively. It was Warke's first collegiate technical fall.
• Gavin Reynolds, Jaccob Gonzalez, Matthew Richardson and Layton Schmick all won by pin.
• Luke Schirmacher won his match, 11-4.
• Elijah Bundro, Marc Kleyman and Max Winkler all won in extra matches by first-period pins.
