COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University men's wrestling team had a successful day at the 2025 Will Abele Invitational, with 10 wrestlers placing in the top eight. Three finished second, and freshman Gavin Reynolds led the way by winning the 157-pound weight class to clinch his first collegiate first-place finish.
 
Notables:
 
Reynolds (157) went undefeated, with two pins to start his day and two decisions to end it, including a championship match victory against fellow Warrior Eric Falleni.

Going into the final, Falleni (157) won four straight matches, earning victories by technical fall, fall, and decision twice.

Robert Burke (174) started his day with two pins in under a minute and won by decision in the semifinal before falling in the final.

Layton Schmick (285) had an impressive day, winning his first three matches by pin and technical fall before losing in the final by major decision.

Sean Campbell (125), Marc Kleyman (165), and Anthony Lawrence (165) all finished in the top five of their respective weight classes.
