EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The East Stroudsburg University men's wrestling team lost 35-12 to No. 14 Gannon Friday night in Koehler Fieldhouse.
 
Notables
Sean Campbell, who wrestled in one of two extra matches, started the Warriors' night on a positive note by defeating his opponent by decision. Campbell entered the final period up 7-6 and kept his opponent at bay to claim the victory.

Austin Noe (pictured above) picked up the first points for ESU late in the second period. Up 10-3, Noe managed to turn his opponent one last time to win by pin.

Anthony Lawrence had one of the most exciting matches of the night. Down by two points with under five seconds to go, Lawrence leaped past his opponent to score a takedown with three seconds left, winning the match by a 6-5 decision.

Max Winkler dominated his opponent from beginning to end, nearly scoring a pin but eventually winning by major decision with the score set at 15-3.

The Warriors will make a quick turnaround as they compete Saturday, Feb. 1, against American International, Centenary, and Sussex, with the first match set to start at 1 p.m.
