INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The ESU men's wrestling team wrapped up the 2025 portion of its season at the Midwest Classic hosted by University of Indianapolis. Traveling with a select roster,
Luke Ciampa earned an eighth-place finish in the 184-pound weight bracket.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ciampa went 3-3 on the weekend, getting out to a strong start on day one. He began the tournament with a win by major decision over Adams State's Sergio Zaragoza and followed that up with a decision win over Mount Olive's Jack Mackiernan. After moving to the consolation bracket, he picked up another decision win over Bradley Mayse from Grand Valley State for his third win of the weekend.
