EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The East Stroudsburg University men's wrestling team had a stellar day at the ESU Quad Meet, defeating American International (AIC), Sussex and Centenary.
 
Before the contest, Sebastian Adler, Luke Ciampa, Kody Edwards, Eric Falleni, Ajay Hiller, Brian Lombardi, Vinny Principe and Matthew Richardson were honored for their contributions to wrestling, academics and the greater community.
 
Notables
Sean Campbell started his day with a first-period pin over his AIC opponent and later won again by a 17-2 technical fall against Sussex.
Gavin Reynolds began his day in similar fashion, pinning his AIC opponent just 1:45 into the match. Against Centenary, Reynolds pinned his opponent slightly faster — this time, 1:43 into the first period.
Evan Thompson wrestled in the last two matches for the Warriors and did so in dominant fashion. Against Sussex, he pinned his opponent in 53 seconds and against Centenary, he had another first-period pin at 1:30.
Falleni, who was honored earlier in the day, won his match against his Centenary opponent, 15-0.
Richardson, who was also honored, defeated his Centenary opponent by a 9-6 decision to pick up a big Senior Day win.

ESU will turn its attention to fellow PSAC member Shippensburg away in Heiges Field House on February 6. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
